Hello, friends. In this post, you will learn how to install PDF Mod on Ubuntu and thus edit PDF files on the system.

According to the tool’s website:

PDF Mod is a simple application for modifying PDF documents.

So with PDF Mod, we will be able to work with PDF files in a quick and easy way. In short, this tool is used to edit this kind of files.

Among its main features are those of allowing us to reorder the pages, rotate them or remove them. All from a simple graphical interface that, for beginners, does not pose any obstacle.

Of course, you can export in a new PDF the changes made.

As it is an open-source software, you can also install it using the official repositories of Ubuntu and its derivatives.

Install PDF Mod on Ubuntu and derivatives

As it is in the official Ubuntu repositories, then you can install it without too many problems.

To achieve this, open a terminal and first update the entire system

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

Then, you can install it with this command

sudo apt install pdfmod

You will be presented with the changes and after accepting them, the process will continue.

When finished, you will be able to run it from the main menu.

Remove PDF Mod from the system

If you would rather not use it anymore, then, the most prudent thing to do is to remove it from the system. To achieve this, just run in a terminal.

sudo apt remove pdfmod

This way, it will no longer be present in the system.
