uGet is a lightweight yet powerful Open Source download manager for GNU/Linux developed with GTK+, which also comes packaged as a portable Windows app.
Install uGet on Ubuntu-APT method
Follow the steps below to get started with uGet :
- Update your Ubuntu system packages with running the below command:
sudo apt update -y && sudo apt upgrade -y
- Then install it as shown below:
sudo apt install uget -y
Getting uGet on Ubuntu-PPA method
- Also you can install it via importing PPA repo as follows:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:plushuang-tw/uget-stable
- Run the command below to reflect on PPA
sudo apt update -y
- Then install uGet as shown below:
sudo apt install uget -y
Access uGet
