Then, move it to a folder like /opt/.

sudo mv jdk-17 /opt/

sudo nano /etc/profile.d/jdk.sh

And add the following content

export $JAVA_HOME=/opt/jdk-17
export PATH=$PATH:$JAVA_HOME/bin

java --version
